Mary Lambert’s new single is the only feel-good song you’ll ever need

If you don’t already adore Mary Lambert, the singer/songwriter responsible for the tear-jerking hook to Macklemore and Ryan Lewis’ hit gay rights anthem “Same Love,” you definitely will after you hear her latest track. “Secrets,” the first single from her upcoming debut, “Heart on My Sleeve,” is a total self-empowerment anthem and the only feel-good song you’ll ever need.

“I know I’m not the only one who’s spent so long attempting to be someone else,” the songstress sings on the track. “Well, I’m over it.”

The song is filled with in-your-face statements that exude attitude and confidence. “I can’t think straight, I’m so gay,” “I love my butt and won’t shut up,” and of course the chorus, “I don’t care if the whole world knows what my secrets are.”

If singing along to this song doesn’t totally brighten your day, nothing will. Check out the lyric video below and see for yourself!
